Thieves Relieve Bank Customer of Money, Chop His Tongue

ATM thieves waylaid a bank customer outside a bank ATM, stole his money and cut his tongue to ensure that he does not reveal their identity.
The incident occurred in Samarlakota in East Godavari district on Saturday. Police sources said that the victim, Nagasai (42) was coming out of the ATM when he was waylaid. After relieving him of his money, he was threatened and his tongue was cut by the assailants.
Passersby rushed him to hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
Police registered a case and are investigating.
