Telangana Congress MPs meet Sonia

The Telangana Congress MPs who built pressure on the Centre to convene an all-party meeting to resolve the Telangana issue, finally met up with Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi on Thursday.

It is learnt that the meeting lasted for over 50 minutes. Apparently, the MPs explained to Sonia the problems of the Telangana people. They also requested the Congress High Command to soon take a call on the Telangana issue. Ghulam Nabi Azad and Ahmed Patel too attended the meeting, it is learnt.
