TDP leader Vamshi accuses Greyhounds IG of threatening him

Hyderabad, "I don't have any information about the complaint lodged by TDP leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi," said Greyhounds IG Seeta Ramanjaneyulu  on Tuesday.

According to reports, Vamshi had lodged a complaint against Ramanjaneyulu to DGP alleging that the IG was threatening to kill the TDP leader. 

On the other hand the IG dismissing the whole complaint said, "I have nothing to speak with regard to this." As per reports, the rivalry between the two runs very deep, and started when Ramanjaneyulu was appointed at police commissioner of Vijayawada. Earlier, there were also allegations against the IG of undertaking fake encounters. 

Vamshi added that Ramanjaneyulu had tried to kill him once with the help of former naxals. The IG, apparently, had even threatened to encounter the TDP leader.

Vamshi's lawyer Chiranjeevi alleged that Ramanjaneyulu previously was involved in 26 encounters. Lawyer added that they had filed a complaint with the State Human Rights Commission with regard to fake encounters conducted by the IG, but the commission is yet to respond.  

As per reports, when Ramanjaneyulu was working as the Police Commissioner, he used to misbehave with women, and was asked to stop by Vamshi. Chiranjeevi said that Ramanjaneyulu did not like Vamshi's interference and hence developed a grudge against him. 

DGP Prasad Rao reacting to Vamshi's complaint, asked the TDP leader to give a written complaint to the Vijayawada CP.
