Since the conciliation meeting with the Chief Labour Commissioner has failed, bank unions under the aegis of the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) have decided to go on a strike.
The strike was to protest against the continued attempts to privatise public sector banks which are the main engine of growth of the economy, the striking bank employees said. - Sakshi Post
