'Surrender your licensed arms'... : Police

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, the inspector revealed that there are 52 people who bear licensed arms under the Chaderghat police station limits and asked them to surrender their weapons to the police in the next two-three days. He also asked the 27 ‘rowdysheeters’ to present themselves for the ‘bindover’.

The officer revealed that there are 39 polling stations and 101 booths under their station limits and added that Section 144 has been implemented in sensitiveareas and severe punishment awaits those who break the law.
