Suo motu case on Madakasira accident

Child Rights Protection committee has registered a suo moto case on the horrific Madakasira bus accident which costed 16 lives on Wednesday morning.

It directed the Ananatapur district collector to submit a detailed report on the incident on and before January 19.
At least 16 passengers, more than half of them students, were killed and 40 were injured when a crowded bus slid down the road in Anantapur district.
The accident occurred between Penukonda and Madakasira. The toll may go up as the condition of 13 of the injured was stated to be critical.
