SSC Student Jumps Off From 3rd Floor After Being Caught Copying

Hyderabad: A class 10 student jumped off from the third floor of a school building in Kanchanbagh on Tuesday after he was allegedly caught while indulging in malpractices.

According to the police, D. Saneeth Reddy (15), is a class 10 student of Bhashyam School in Santhosh Nagar. His SSC examination center was in Vidyayani Model School. On Monday, the invigilator noticed that Sandeep was copying from a slip he brought with him and questioned him about that. The invigilator threatened him that he could be barred from taking the exams for four years. Sandeep, who felt ashamed, ran out from the classroom and jumped from the third floor of the building.

The boy sustained injuries and is on ventilator support at Apollo DRDO hospital in Santosh Nagar.

Police registered a case under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.
