Six Dead as Tempo Lorry Collide in Chittoor District

Chittoor: Six pilgrims died on the spot and 15 others were critically injured when their vehicle collided with a lorry in Chandragiri mandal of Chittoor district in the wee hours of Tuesday.

All the passengers of the tempo were from Bengaluru and were returning from Tirumala after a darshan of the presiding deity. The injured were shifted to Ruia hospital in Tirupati and their condition is stated to be critical.
