In recent developments, Police have found that killed assailants have criminal history. Police even stated that they were earlier part of SIMI and now seems have connections with Syrian terror group ISIS.

Saturday shoot-out in Janakipuram of Motkuru, killed two assailants and took lives of two policemen. The massive hunt for Suryapet assailants ended on Saturday with recent shoot-out. The two assailants are identified as Aslam and Jakir of Uttar Pradesh. These two fired four rounds of Gun on Wednesday in Suryapet bus-stop killing two police and injuring two other.
During Saturday shoot-out, one constable died while SI Siddaya is severely injured with four bullets including one in head.  Aslan and Jakir are sharp shooters and are most wanted terrorists according to Mumbai anti-terrorist squad. These two are also involved in many terror attacks in India. Telangana state DGP Anuraj Sharma informed media that the probe is on and more details will be informed once they are confirmed.
