Sharmila visits Kapu in hospital

YSR Congress party MLA from Rayadurgam, Kapu Ramachandra Reddy, who tried committing suicide by consuming pesticides on Tuesday as a protest against police high handedness, is recovering. 

The YSRCP MLA who is recuperating in Bangalore hospital will be discharged in few days.

Several YSRCP leaders including YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's sister Sharmila and her husband Brother Anil, visited the Colombia Asia hospital and enquired after his health.  

Kapu and his supporters staged a dharna before Rayadurgam police station on Tuesday demanding immediate release of YSRCP activists. However, when the police refused to accept his demand, he consumed pesticides in protest.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where his family was advised by teh doctors to shift him to a better hospital.
