Sharmila in Srikakulam today

YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's sisiter Sharmila had completed her 14-day long 'Maro Praja Prasthanam' Padayatra in Vizianagaram district and entered the neighbouring Srikakulam district on Sunday evening.

Sharmila stepped into the Srikakulam district by entering the Kella village of Palakonda constituency. When Sharmila entered the district, she was accorded a grand welcome. Thousands of YSR followers, particularly from Palakonda gathered there to receive Sharmila.

Srikakulam will become the 14th district for her padayatra. The YSRCP leader will walk a distance of 190 km in the district. So far, Sharmila has covered 2898.8 km during 216 days of the padayatra.
