Senior Maoist dies of jaundice - Sakshi Post

Visakhapatnam: Senior Maoist leader Kudumula Ravi died on Saturday due to jaundice and related complications. The health condition of Ravi, who was not keeping well for quite sometime, deteriorated on Saturday and his dalam members rushed him to a hospital in Vizag. However, he died on way to hospital.

Ravi, a native of Kommandi village in Chintapalli mandal is associated with the military wing of the dreaded East Division Committee of the outlawed CPI Maoist Party. He also carries a reward of Rs 20 lakh on his head.

Ravi was suffering from acute jaundice for quite sometime and had even comtemplated surrender at one stage. But, later, he retraced his steps and continued with the underground work of the outlawed organisation.

Ravi came into contact with the Maosts through Radical Students Union. He later rose in the hierarchy and became a member of the military wing of the party.
