Seemandhra workers walk back to protest over Telangana

Demanding that the centre reconsider its announcement on separate statehood to Telangana, the Seemandhra employees have been protesting for the last one week at the Secretariat campus.

In a different protest, the employees today walked back urging the Centre to go back on its words. Several politicians from Congress, YSRCP and TDP extended their support to the Seemandhra employees. It is learnt that the workers interrupted the leaders who were trying to give a political speech.
