Secunderabad shocker: Man kills 6-year-old with a sharp object - Sakshi Post

In a shocking incident, a man, labelled 'psycho' by the Police, allegedly attacked, and killed a 6-year old girl in Secunderabad railway station with sharp weapons on Tuesday afternoon. In a bid to keep their daughter Priya Darshini's memory alive, the parents have decided to donate her eyes.

The kid was standing with her parents on platform no.10 in Secunderabad station, around 12 pm. Her father, an executive at a call centre, Chilkalguda had gone to buy train tickets when the culprit, Kumar (21) appeared out of nowhere and tried pampering the child. After playing with the child for sometime, the man took out a sharp object and attacked the child repeatedly. The child screamed out of pain and then succumbed to her injuries on the spot.
On witnessing the murder, the passengers and the Railway Police rushed to spot and thrashed him black and blue. Kumar was brutally injured and was later shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad.



Police have arrested the culprit, who is from Vijayapuram mandal in Chittoor district and are trying to ascertain the cause of the murder. According to the police, the culprit has several cases registered against him.
The family was on the their way to Solapur to attend a family wedding. After the incident, the inconsolable parents have decided to donate their daughter's eyes. They will take the body to their native, Siddipet in Medak district for her last rites.
