SC atrocity case against KCR and others

A case under the Prevention of atrocities against the SC, STs Act was registered against some TRS leaders in Hyderabad.

The case was registered in Banjara Hills police station against party chief K Chandrasekhara Rao, Jagadeesh, Subhash Reddy, Rajasekhara Reddy and Gottimukkula Padmarao following a complaint by former TRS leader Chinta Swamy for yesterday's attack on him. Chinta Swamy in his complaint alleged that they have abused and beat him in the name of his caste.

It may be recalled that Chinta Swamy along with his supporters performed a 'chavu dappu' (beating trumpet during a funeral procession) in front of the Telangana Bhavan. The TRS activists attacked Chinta Swamy and his supporters when they were performing 'savayatra' with KCR's photo.
