Samaikyandra agitation disturbs EAMCET counselling

Although Andhra Pradesh State Education department on Monday made it clear that EAMCET counselling will continue as per schedule, it faced the heat of Samaikyandhra agitation.

Counselling was stopped at several parts of the Seemandhra region. The verification of certificates is on, but the selection procedure will be delayed, reports said.

The education officials submitted a detailed report on the counselling in Seemandhra to Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday.

In most part of Seemandhra, Polytechnic teachers have boycotted the counselling in support of Samaikyandhra movement.
