RTC bus in flames, traffic hold-up in Patny Centre

Secunderabad: The commuters in a Jeedimetla depot bus had a scary experience when fires billowed out of the engine early this morning. The incident occurred in the busy Patny Centre in Secunderabad.

Panicky passengers jumped out of the bus and ran helter skelter. The bus is a Metro Express vehicle. The driver and conductor alerted the fire tenders, who rushed to the spot and put out the fires. The incident caused a massive traffic hold-up in the Patny Area during the morning rush hours.

The cause of the fire is unknown and the authorities are looking into the incident.
