Road accident kills 4 on Hyderabad- Vijayawada highway

Four persons were killed in a road accident on the Hyderabad- Vijayawada highway near Choutuppal mandal of Nalgonda district on Tuesday.

The incident occurred when a car crashed from behind into a parked lorry.

Four died on the spot and one woman was seriously injured in the accident. The woman was shifted to the Choutuppal government hospital.  The deceased were identified to be the residents of Bal Nagar in Hyderabad.

The accident had created a traffic jam on the highway. A case has been registered at Chotuppal police station.
