Protests at RIMS over pregnant woman’s death

Relatives of a pregnant woman protested in front of RIMS hospital blaming the doctors responsible for her death in Srikakulam on Friday.

Challa Parvathi, 20, admitted in the RIMS hospital. She complained of labour pains on Thursday evening. She died later as none of the staff doctors were available to treat her. The relatives alleged that the doctors who have to attend on the pregnant woman were not reported for duty and accused the doctors of showing negligence and causing her death.
