Producer Ravi Shankar Prasad found dead in East Godavari
The mystery surrounding the sudden disappearance of Southern producer, Ravi Shankar Prasad was solved. His dead body was found at Gogula Lanka of Ipolavaram in East godavari district.
At first the police were not sure if it was the producer who had been missing from July 8. However, his identity was confirmed by Ravi Shankar's family members who were summoned by the police.
It may be recalled that Ravi Shankar was last seen in Yanam when he went for his morning jog from Hotel Anand Regency. The Yanam police had registered a complaint after the producer had gone missing.
Ravi Shankar is the managing director of Gemini Film Circuit and the chairman of Regency chain of hotels. His body was shifted to the Kakainada hospital for post mortem. Police registered a case and are investigating whether it is a suicide or murder.
