Prakasam: Kidnapped boy Harshit Reddy found dead

An air of gloom filled Prakasam district on Tuesday. The residents woke up to the tragic death of 3-year-old boy, Harshit Reddy who was kidnapped from Bommalapuram on Monday. It is learnt that the abductors had demanded an amount of Rs 7 lakhs to free the little boy. 

The kidnappers killed the boy after they realised that Harishit's family had reported the call to the police. Abductors choked the boy to death and thew his body on the outskirts of the district. 

The police has taken into their custody an accused in connection with the case. Another accused has gone missing. The accused Srinivasulu belongs to Durgivasi in Guntur.
