Police arrest MLA Chandravathi for staging 'rasta roko'

The police on Wednesday arrested Wyra MLA Banothu Chandravathi for staging a 'rasta roko' for about two hours in Enkur recently, protesting against the alleged delay in commencement of the scheduled programme meant for distribution of 'pattas' under the Land Distribution Scheme.

Police took her into their custody. 
There are reports that she is planning to quit CPI for denying MLA ticket to her.
