'Pinakapani gave a new lease of life to Carnatic music'

Music directors and singers from across the country have expressed their grief and sorrow over the demise of  legendary Carnatic musician, Sripada Pinakapani.

MM Kiravani offered his condolence and said that the legendary musician had given a new lease of life to Carnatic music.

Pinakapani passed away in Kurnool district yesterday. He was 100 years old. His funeral will takes place at the Thungabhadra Hindu burial ground on Tuesday evening.
