PCC makes 'Uttam' choice, shows door to Ponnala - Sakshi Post

In a major decision, the Congress High Command removed Ponnala Lakshmaiah from the post of Telangana PCC chief post.

The current working president Uttam Kumar Reddy succeed him. Also, senior Dalit face of the party Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka is likely to be made the working president.
It is learnt that this could be a major disappointment for Ponnala, who has been lobbying hard to continue as PCC chief in Delhi for the past four days. However, his fate appeared to have been sealed as he could not get the appointment of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Several other leaders also campaigning in Delhi.
Several Congress leaders have been demanding that Ponnala should resign owing responsible for the party's defeat in Telangana.
Uttam Kumar Reddy served as a housing minister in the then Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet. Meanwhile, the Congress High Command has also summoned Telangana CLP leader Jana Reddy to Delhi.
