No clues yet on Vikarabad blast, toll rises to five - Sakshi Post

The death toll in the blast that rocked in a flat at Rajiv Gruhakalpa Colony at Vikarabad in Rangareddy district on Friday night reached to five on Sunday. Ameena  Begam(21) succumbed to burns at Osmania hospital in Hyderabad. A woman Vasanta and a boy Karthik died on the day of the blast. Two more kids died on Saturday. They are Saicharan(7), who died at Osmania Hospital and Iliyas (9) at Gandhi Hospital. Six more injured persons were being treated at Osmania Hospital. Karthik and Saikiran are the sons of Yesu and Vijaya, who were also among the injured in the blast.

POlice yet to find clues for blast

Meanwhile, the blast was still remained to be a mystery even after three days. The police could not establish the reason for the blast. They said on the day of the blast occurred due to gelatin sticks. But on Saturday they said it was because of LPG cylinder. However, the NIA (National Investigation Authority) and the clues team which visited the place of the blast ruled out blast due to either of the gelatin sticks or the LPG cylinder. The impact of the blast was such a huge that a partition wall was completely destroyed.
