Nirbhaya case slapped against TDP leader

Hyderabad: Chikkadapalli Police have initiated criminal proceedings against Amaram Vinod, a TDP leader and resident of Jawahar Nagar, Gandhi Nagar Division for alleged sexual assault.

According to N.L.N Raju, Chikkadapalli Inspector of Police, Amar Vinod got acquainted with a married female singer from Domalaguda following some financial dealings. But both recently parted ways following some difference.

Meanwhile Vinod allegedly started sexually harassing her. Following a complaint by the singer, Chikkdapalli police have registered a case against Vinod under Nirbhaya law.
