JEE Advanced 2025: Exam Date, Registration, and Eligibility Criteria

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025 will be conducted on May 18 for BTech and BArch admissions in 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) across the nation. Candidates eligible can apply online from April 23 to May 2.
Eligibility Criteria
2,50,236 candidates have made it to the JEE Advanced exam by getting the minimum cutoff percentile in the JEE Main exam. The candidates are now eligible for competing for admission in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) in the nation.
Exam Schedule and Results
The JEE Advanced exam will be conducted on May 18, and the results will be declared on June 2. The candidates who pass in the JEE Advanced exam will be eligible for admission to IITs.
JEE Main Results
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of JEE Main on April 18 midnight. Of the 15.39 lakh candidates who had enrolled for the examination in two sessions, 14.75 lakh candidates took the examination, and 2.50 lakh candidates obtained the minimum cutoff marks.
Admission Process
The candidates who pass the JEE Advanced test are eligible to attend the counseling session for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The JEE Advanced test is an important component of the admission procedure for these highly selective institutions.
