BTS’ J-Hope Promoted as Assistant Instructor in the Army

J-hope, a military member, was recently chosen to serve as an assistant instructor at the highly regarded 36th Infantry Division Recruit Training Centre in Wonju, Gangwon Province.

J-hope, who is presently in the military, was promoted to assistant instructor. This exciting information follows that of Kim Seokjin (also known as Jin), another member of BTS, who recently began serving as an assistant in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do's 5th Infantry Division of the Army.

Army officials verified the rapper's new position as an assistant instructor, letting the K-media in on the secret. According to a South Korean news agency, J-Hope will first need to undergo a review of his educational qualification certification evaluation before starting his duties.

As the buzz over the news grew, BigHit Music, the company that represents BTS, issued the following statement in response to the reports: "Please understand that it is difficult to confirm."
