Hyderabad, Body of 'Natasamrat' Akkineni Nageswara Rao was shifted to film chambers by his family members on Thursday.

According to reports, every member of the ANR family was moved to tears, when the body was being shifted.  His body will shifted back to Annapurna studios, and his last rites will be performed there.  

The Telugu film industry was plunged into grief on Wednesday, when the news of ANR's death broke out.  

Leading actors, colleagues from industry, politicians, and hundreds of fans poured in to pay their tributes. Some broke down while recalling their association with the 'Natasamrat.'  

The thespian, who was battling intestinal cancer for the last few months, breathed his last at a private hospital in the early hours of Wednesday. He was 90. 

In a career spanning over seven decades, Nageswara Rao acted in about 255 films and was the last of the first-generation actors of Telugu film industry, which produces the second largest number of films after Bollywood.
