Nampally court rejects Mopidevi's interim bail petition

The Nampally court on Saturday rejected the interim bail petition of former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao in connection with Vanpic case.

The court directed the jail officials to provide proper treatment to Mopidevi in jail itself. It's worth mentioning that Mopidevi filed an interim bail seeking three months time to get his back operated.

The CBI argued that they didn't have an objection to getting Mopidevi admitted in hospital amid escort but it's not required to grant him an interim bail.

Mopidevi's lawyer told the court that Osamania Medical Board has advised Mopidevi to get his operation done soon.
