Muslim Youth Launch Anti-IS Campaign in Old City

Hyderabad: A group of Hyderabad's Muslim youth have taken up a campaign to show their hatred for the terrorist group IS (Islamic State). The youngsters are putting up anti-IS posters in several places around the Old City claiming that no true Mulsim would support brutality and inhumanity like the terrorist organization does. The group also includes women, students and businessmen.

Speaking to the media one of the members of the group said the aim of the group is to show people that the acts of the terrorist organization IS are against Islam. “The Quran does not preach harming the innocent,” he said. The group says that they want to spread the teachings of Islam before a wrong opinion about the religion is formed among people.

They also say that the idea is to teach Muslim youth of the city and also around the world not to fall in the trap of any terrorist organizations.

For years, many youngsters have joined various terrorist organizations in the name of religion, but this new campaign is going to contain this menace to some extent.
