Mother, son die in suicide pact

A mother and her son, working as farm workers at a mango orchard committed suicide on Sunday by consuming pesticide.

Sapavat Chittee, 37, and her son Chandrabose, 17, resorted to the extreme step at the mango garden they were working at Sarvareddypalle on Srisailam-Hyderabad highway in Vanguru mandal of Mahaboobnagar district. Reason for the suicide was  yet to be established. Vanguru Sub-Inspector Chandramouli Goud visited the site and is investigating.
