Lorry overturns at Metro construction site, two labourers killed

Hyderabad, Two labourers, working at Metro site in Malakpet, died when a lorry carrying cement overturned, Thursday wee hours.

As per reports, the incident took place around 3.30 am when the lorry fell into a pit as the metro work was under progress. Reportedly, the driver lost control over the vehicle, and the lorry swerved and fell into the pit where the workers were standing. 

The deceased have been identified as Ansari and Babulal. Four others were also severely injured, and were rushed to the nearby hospital. 

Rescue and police teams rushed to the spot.  Meanwhile, slow moving traffic was observed between Dilsukhnagar and Koti route.
