Liquor shops under Cyberabad will remain closed till Monday morning

Hyderabad: In view of the finale of Telangana state festival ‘Bonalu’, police issued orders to close the liquor and toddy shops under the Cyberabad East and West limits till Monday morning. Cyberabad East Commissioner of Police Mahesh Bhagavat issued the orders to maintain law and order situation.

CP said the decision will strictly be implemented to avoid any untoward incidents and inconvenience to women and children due to the open consumption of alcohol during the celebrations. Serious actions will be taken against those who fail to obey the orders, he added.
