Lake Police stops woman from ending life

Hyderabad: The Hussain Sagar Lake Police saved the life of a woman, who was about to take the fatal plunge. They saved Sabritha from committing suicide on October 11.

Sabritha is a resident of Kavadiguda and works as a maid servant. She used filthy language and quarreled with her husband every time she drank. On the night of October 11, while fully drunk, she started quarrelling with her husband, who retaliated by scolding and beating her. Depressed by this, she went to commit suicide at Hussain sagar on Sunday.

The patrolling police, reached the place on time and saved the lady from committing suicide. Lake Inspector K. Sreedevi counselled her. They also called her husband to the Lake police station and sent the couple to Gandhi Nagar police station for further action.
