Lady doctor files case against actor Venu

A tenant at Tollywood actor Thottempudi Venu’s house has filed a police complaint at Banjara Hills police station on Saturday stating that her landlord is not ready to return the rental advance that she had paid.

Fathemi, a doctor by profession hails from Iran, said that she was the tenant in actor's flat in GP Residency on Road No 10, Banjara Hills and the monthly rental was Rs.29,300.

Fathemi stated that she had paid Rs 88,000 to Venu as rental advance. “I informed him on April 8 that I've decided to vacate the flat. But he refused to return the rental advance saying that there are some cracks on the flooring,” she told police in her complaint.

Dr Fathemi informed police that Venu and his wife Anupama Choudary told her they would not return the amount till the cracks in the flooring are set right. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
