Kurnool: Govt hospital replaces baby girl with boy

In a sham that took place in Kurnool district on June 20, a baby boy was replaced with a baby girl.

A woman who had come to the government hospital with labour pains had given birth to a baby boy. But due to the negligence of doctors, a baby girl was given to the parents, saying that their baby was female.

When the parents checked the hospital records, they found the fallacy and immediately staged a dharna at the hospital. Though the fraud took place a couple of weeks back, it came to light only today.
