Kiran, Botsa busy in Delhi with MLC list

The MLC aspirators thronged the AP Bhavan in New Delhi in huge numbers in the wake of Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Deputy CM Damodar Rajanarasimha and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana's visit to finalise the list of MLC candidates.

The aspirators include former ministers and former MLAs and MLCs. Kiran Kumar and Botsa met AP affairs incharge Gulam Nabi Azad and presented him the primary list of candidates after state-level scrutiny. They are also meeting the top leaders like Vayalar Ravi before meeting AICC president Sonia Gandhi. 

The Congress is likely to get five MLC seats in view of its strength in the Assembly, but Kiran Kumar Reddy is making his efforts to get another seat, party sources said. The MLC aspirators were meeting union minister Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, MPs Undavalli, Ananta Venkatrami Reddy and Saipratap for their good offices. The Congress party is likely to annouce its candidates by evening.
