KCR never met Shinde in Delhi, says TRS - Sakshi Post

In an attempt to put the record straight, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) today clarified that the party had never claimed that TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao had met Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde during his (KCR’s) month-long stay in New Delhi.

TRS former MP Vinod told media persons in Hyderabad that a section of media had twisted KCR’s statement. “Before leaving for Hyderabad, the TRS president had only said in New Delhi that he had met some Union Ministers, including Vayalar Ravi, and certain leaders of the Congress High Command. But KCR never said that he had a meeting with Shinde,” the former MP stated.
“The aim of our deliberations with the Congress High Command leaders is only to convince them into taking a favourable decision towards separate Telangana. Once that is achieved, we will meet leaders like Shinde,” he explained. He appealed to the leaders of the Congress and other parties not to play with the sentiments of the Telangana people.
