Kavuri draws Samaikyandra activists' ire over Telangana

A few NGOs and YSRCP activists attacked the house of Union Minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao in Eluru. Raising slogans against the Congress and Kavuri, they demanded the resignation of the union minister. The situation turned tense when the Congress activists obstructed the protestors.

They accused Kavuri for his role in division of the state.  There was a rift when the Congress partymen called NGO activists thieves. On the other hand, YSRCP and Congress' potshots against each other heightened the tension. The Samaikyandhra activists said that Kavuri whose name will not appear in history. They burnt effigies of KCR and Sonia Gandhi.

Echoes of 'KCR, CM down down' filled the air.  In west Godavari, SJAC held a huge rally against the decision of the Congress on the Telangana issue. Educational institutions, commercial establishments remained closed and the bus services were suspended in the district.
