Jaleel Khan condemns media reports - Sakshi Post

Scotching rumors floated by some media orgnasitations, party MLA from Vijayawada West constituency Jaleel Khan categorically stated that there is no question of him leaving the party.

Reacting on a report appeared in an English daily, suggesting that he may leave the party, Khan said it is utterly baseless and far from the truth. “I strongly condemn such reports not based on facts. The media is duty bound to cross check the facts before going to the press/telecast.

Speaking to media persons at party central office here on Tuesday Jaleel Khan said, as an MLA it is imperative for him to meet ministers or concerned officials to bring various public issues to their notice. ‘I have met ministers and officials to discuss the Metro Rail issue which is more important to the people of my constituency as it consists of poor and middle class in large numbers. I would meet a minister or chief minister. That should not be construed as iam leaving my party’, he said.

Khan further said this is not the first time rumors are being spread that our party legislators will be leaving the party. The false propaganda was engineered by elements holding high stakes in the ruling party. However, he said, the unfortunate thing is media too are willing to bite the bullet and keen to endorse rumours without verifying the facts. He stated that he would and will be the party now and forever and appeals to media not to fall prey to false propaganda.
