Jagan on fast, Vijayamma on tour to keep AP united - Sakshi Post

YSR Congress Party leaves no stone unturned to keep Andhra Pradesh united. When the party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is on indefinite fast to exert pressure on Centre to revoke its decision to divide the State, his mother, party’s honorary president, Y S Vijayamma, on other hand, is meeting national leaders of various parties seeking their solidarity for the cause of Samaikyandhra.

Jagan’s health condition started deteriorating as his indefinite fast entered fifth day on Wednesday. He was put on medical tests. Doctors declared that his blood, Sugar levels dipped sharply.

A team of doctors from Osmania General Hospital examined Jagan on Tuesday evening. Though his vital parameters are within permissible levels he is suffering from dehydration, said the doctors. Jagan complained of head ache and back pain for which doctors advised him to take fluids. His vital parameters read as...BP 130/80, Sugar 68, and Pulse Rate 70.

Meanwhile, party delegation, led by the party's honorary president Y S Vijayamma, met several party leaders in Delhi including DMK MP Kanimozhi, CPI (M) General Secretary Prakash Karath and Senior CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury and requested them to support Samaikyandhra. Speaking to the media persons after meeting the leaders, Vijayamma said the response of the leaders was encouraging. She dubbed the Minister’s committee, constituted by the Centre as another Simon commission.
