Jagan Mohan Calls Chandrababu Political Monster

Launching a scathing attack on chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for forcible land acquisition in the AP capital region, YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy described him as a political monster who is blinded by power.Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday visited Tullur and Malkapuram to console the farmers who lost their crops and lands for construction of the new capital.

Jagan Mohan met farmer Gadde Chandrasekhar whose sugar cane crop in Malkapuram was burnt by unidentified miscreants last week. He said the government is victimising the farmers who refused to part their lands for the capital. "You have no right to force farmers to give their lands," he said and questioned that whether Chandrababu or any of his ministers would give their lands for government work.

Jagan Mohan Reddy described the violent methods of the government in forcing farmers for land pooling as 'jungle raj' which was only seen in Bihar some years ago. The government is not taking action against those who indulged in burning of the crop, he said and warned that a massive protest programme will be launched against the government's pressure tactics on the farmers.
