Jagan, Vijayamma, Sharmila will tour across the state (2)

YSR Congress Party on Saturday called upon its rank and file to work hard for strengthening the party in the days ahead.

YSR Congress honorary president Y.S. Vijayamma and party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with other party leaders deliberated and sorted out an election plan of action.  

Party senior leader Konatala Ramkrishna announced that fan will be their party's symbol in all the elections, including ZPTC and MPTC elections. “A meeting of the district convenors was held to discuss the poll strategy under the chairmanship of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Party Honorary President YS Vijaymma which took stock of the situation and chalked out the programme to face the multiple elections coming up in close proximity,” he said.

He also announced that Jagan, Vijayamma and Sharmila will campaign in all the districts in the state. The places and timings of the tour will be announced soon, he added.  “The Odarpu Yatra is not called off and is very much on. We did not get permission to visit some areas and once it is accorded YS Jagan Mohan Reddy or his representative will continue the Yatra,” he said. 

Criticising former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, Konatala said, "Kiran called off the match as he was unable to bat. Till the last moment he said he will deliver his last ball, but his last ball failed both in Assembly and Parliament. And he is not the only person to have filed petition against bifurcation, others have also done so."
