Is that Aditi’s body?

In what could be an important twist in the sad story of sis-year-old Aditi, the girl who fell into a drainage during heavy rains and went missing in Vizag, the police said a body of a child was discovered near the fisher-folk village of Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district.

The highly disfigured and bloated body could not be identified, but from the clothes that were on the body, it is suspected that this could be that of Aditi.

Aditi went missing after she slipped and fell into a drainage on a rainy day seven days ago. She went missing last Thursday and every effort made to locate her failed. The parents of the girl are in a state of shock. The body has been recovered from Bhogapuram, which is a good 40 km from Vizag.

On hearing about the body, senior police officials and the special team cops have left for Vizianagaram.
