Interestingly, Kiran added that he did this robbery only to show that robbers steal at night, but politicians are looting the country in broad daylight. "I have done this robbery to point out the corruption of political leaders.  I find no difference between robbing and politics. I am thief only for one night, but politicians are thieves for five years," he said.

"I wanted to join politics and serve people.I wanted to contest as president for my village , but was not given an opportunity," he said.

"I also tried committing suicide twice. Then, I realised I have no right to end my life. Yes, I did this robbery to become famous in society," he candidly admitted.

On the other hand, the police are confused whether to believe him. They are investigating and trying to find out if other names are involved behind the jewelry.
