Hyderabadi arrested at Shamshabad while trying to join ISIS

Hyderabad: Telangana police on Friday arrested a Hyderabad-based engineer  suspecting he has links with terror group Islamic State. He was arrested at the Shamshabad airport.

Based on intelligence inputs, he is identified as Salman Moinuddin,22, a resident of Asif Nagar. It is been learnt that he had recently completed masters degree from Houston, US and was going to join ISIS. He will join his girlfriend Nicky Joseph who is a British national and the duo will fly to Syria via Turkey. His girlfriend has recently converted to Islam and changed her name to Ayesha. She was married to a UK-based doctor.
