Huge haul of cash seized during police checks

Cash seizures continued in the city following police checks  on Wednesday.

The police recovered Rs 10 lakh  currency notes and also Rs 35 lakh US dollars from the possession of a person at Narayanaguda. About 10 lakh was seized from a person at Himayatnagar. Police conducted checks for the past two days intercepting each and every vehicle following the terror threat warning issued by the Intelligence Bureau (IB), New Delhi.
