Hate speech: Court extends Akbar's judicial remand

A local court on Thursday extended till February 12 the judicial remand of MIM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi, accused of sedition and criminal conspiracy for his hate speech.

Owaisi, who is presently lodged at Adilabad district Jail since his arrest on January 8 by Nirmal police, was brought to Nizamabad amid tight security and produced before the court which extended his remand.

The Judge directed him to appear before the court on February 12 to record his voice again.
