Gun misfires, bullet pierces into constable’s lungs

Chandampet(Nalgonda): A constable attached to Chandampet police station in Nalgonda district has been injured seriously after a gun misfired in the police station premises on Tuesday.

The constable Venkateshwarlu was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad for a better treatment as the bullet pierced into his lungs and his condition is said to be critical, according to official sources. Venkateshwarlu has recently got engaged and his marriage is scheduled on March 5. The constable’s family is shocked over the mishap.
